Commercial Gym Equipment Reupholstery

On-site reupholstery for commercial gyms, health clubs, YMCAs, and hotel and corporate fitness centers. We use heavy-duty commercial vinyl, install new foam when the padding is worn, and finish in a one-day install with no equipment shipped out.

What we reupholster

  • Flat, incline, and decline benches
  • Adjustable benches
  • Selectorized strength stacks
  • Plate-loaded machines
  • Chest press & shoulder press seats and back pads
  • Leg curl / leg extension / leg press pads
  • Preacher curl pads
  • Back extension pads
  • Ab benches
  • Stretching mats
  • Spin bike seats
  • Treadmill and cardio pads

Reupholster vs. replace

Manufacturers classify torn seams and worn vinyl as normal wear and tear — the warranty won't cover it. Replacement runs into five and six figures once you factor in freight, install, and downtime. Reupholstering restores the same look and feel for a fraction of the cost, and your members never notice the machine was down.

Frequently asked questions

What brands of commercial gym equipment do you reupholster?

Every commercial brand. We regularly work on Life Fitness, Precor, Cybex, Matrix, Hammer Strength, Nautilus, Technogym, Star Trac, Body Masters, and older discontinued lines. If a machine has vinyl and foam on it, we can rebuild the pad — regardless of manufacturer or age.

How long does reupholstery take? Will my gym have to close?

No. After the on-site consultation we build the upholstery in our shop, then return for a one-day install. Your equipment never leaves the floor and members keep training. Most facilities are back to full service by end of day.

Do you install new foam, or just recover the vinyl?

Both. If the foam is compressed, cracked, or contaminated, we replace it with new commercial-density foam before applying the new vinyl. If the foam is still sound, we recover with heavy-duty vinyl and save you the added cost. We tell you honestly which pads need which.

What areas do you serve?

Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Northern Virginia — including Harford, Baltimore, Cecil, Howard, Anne Arundel, and Frederick counties in MD; York and Lancaster counties in PA; and Fairfax, Arlington, and the City of Alexandria in VA.
